What is 'Best of Orange'?
It’s a simple way to celebrate the people and places that make our community special.
The Best of Orange is a county-wide recognition program where local residents nominate and vote for their favorite businesses, organizations, and individuals—from restaurants and shops to teachers, farmers, and hometown heroes.
It’s completely community-driven. No big corporations, no outside agendas—just locals lifting up other locals.
Each year, the winners are featured online and in a printed keepsake magazine. It’s our way of saying "thank you" to those who go the extra mile to serve, support, and strengthen Orange County.
Whether you're a business owner, a customer, a neighbor, or a fan of this amazing place we call home—you’re invited to be part of it.
Nominate. Vote. Celebrate.
That’s The Best of Orange.

Celebrating Orange Virginia!
At a time when rural voices are too often overlooked, we believe something extraordinary is happening right here in Orange County. From the charm of Gordonsville to the growth in Locust Grove and Unionville, this region is rich with history, heart, and hometown pride. That’s why we’re launching The Best of Orange and OrangeVirginia.com—a community-first platform dedicated to celebrating the people, places, and stories that make our area truly special.
This platform is for you. For the farmers and teachers. For the makers and volunteers. For the nonprofits, the small business owners, and the residents who show up every day to make Orange County a better place.
Together, we can write the next chapter of local media—rooted in integrity, fueled by community, and focused on the future.
We’re glad you’re here. Let’s celebrate Orange.
With Gratitude,
